The band played a Victorian Ball in Manheim, PA. I was not kilted but I did wear plaid. I wore my grey/black windowpane check suit and vest with a black frock coat circa 1855. Played reels, waltzes, and jigs until midnight at which point we sang some old "Scottish Song" We drove home in the snow and just now got in.
Best part - They hired us for next year!

    Happy New Year all!

Tartan flannel lounge pants and a sweatshirt. Watched the ball drop on TV and chatted with a friend online while my bride slept on the couch.

When did I get this boring?

Drinked, danced and sang with Paddy Doyle's Boots at the Black Watch pub in Upland in my Anderson tartan kilt.
Had my picture taken several times, laughed my way through "Fields of Athenry" due to new friend Diana who thinks I look "cute" in a kilt ...
and one very tipsy woman making eyes at me as she came out the pub door.

CT - behold the power of the kilt (new friend Brent and his boss will be in contact with one of our fine kiltmakers soon)

Isle of Skye kilt and a grey sweater. I was with Kelly's parents and their friends, all of whom were ALSO kilted (as a pleasant surprise). Her parents friends had on an American Heritage Casual (him) and an American Heritage Mini (her). Kelly's Dad had on his new Navy Semi Trad and her Mom had on her new MacPherson Hntg Mini.
