I certainly hope we all realize how important this thread is! We, those of us who wear kilts, are responsible for the attitudes others adopt about us. No matter if one is male or female exposing oneself on purpose is irresponsible and gives ammunition to those who are looking for reasons to put kilts down. As a philosopher and ethicist I strongly encourage responsibility in all things. Although responsibility is sometimes hard to determine it is not in this instance. Don't create issues for those of us who want to wear the kilt and accept the responsibility that goes with it.

I'd be surprised finding even one member here who deliberately flashes anyone. We are responsible ONLY for acting within the guidelines of our own ethical and moral behaviors. It is absolutely impossible to be responsible for another persons attitude.

Just my take - but anyone who flashes is in need of medical help, and deserves nothing but pity.

    Ron,

if were to be falsely accused I'd almost be tempted to ask them to describe exactly what they saw and compare to what you know you did (or didn't) have on.

At least then if you had it on record and it didn't match up to the truth, and you had to defend yourself (heaven forbid it went that far) you could make them out to be the perverted liar that they are.

Too bad we even have to consider such options

Ya know, if you look at the more famous up kilt picks on the net (not the wind ones) it usually involves a klited man sitting higher than usual, like on steps or the poor Colonel on stage next to the Queen Mother. It is all angles.

I originally chose to wear tartan boxers under my kilt in the work place. I figured if the wind accidently got me it would be coordinated. Then I got called in by my supervisor and told that a client had "seen" a bit of my tartan underwear. The boxers are long....but jeez...like the kids for the last 20 years haven't had all patterns of boxer shorts hanging out...

That prompted me to change to the black cotton briefs. Figured it would be like a shadow image and if someone somehow went through all the complicated gyrations to look up my kilt when I'm seated they'd see black.

But my original interest was finding ways to deal with the false claims of impossible exposure from folks looking for drama in their life at our expense.

"I'm sorry lady, that would be impossible, you see, it was shot off in the war. Dreadful experience."

I haven't been falsely accused of flashing when I'm certain it couldn't have occurred.
Nor have I been rightly informed of a flash when I'm certain an accidental view insance had come to pass.
Back up on page one Panache spoke of the millions of women whom have been wearing skirts for so long a time and have trained themselves in routines that prevent opportunities to be seen underthere (wear). I've looked, trying to get a glimpse of the ladies and can say surely, "They've got the knack for prevention." Even for the best or most likely angles for a peek.

We males in kilt are typically in kilts hemmed at a bit longer length than the usual ladies hem length. So, a sighting of the gent's bagpipes is even less likely. So, us fellas can probably figure that the false accusations are indeed from the wishful looker hoping to find fault. When it doesn't happen they brazenly callout their responses for a snicker, or aren't aware enough that they've just at that moment been utterly rude.
    Oh, Well!!

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I have seen different versions of such pictures which suggest that there has been some doctoring in one or the other.

In other words an "after version" is somewhat more revealing than a "before version. This could indicate that the alleged "offender" really wasn't as careless as it appears.
