The Clan Crest Badge was made from a mold of the copyrighted design of Gaelic Themes. If they are the ones that will produce them the badge will look exactly like that of the sample. If Gaelic Themes is not our manufacturer we have an alternate design.

The X Marks Kilt Pin was designed by Hank Hanna, the owner of this forum. We have had Kilt Pins made before but had problems with the fasteners falling off. Gaelic Themes may also be the maker of these if they can insure me that the fasteners will be of the same quality of their other products.

I promise to keep everyone posted on the progress of these items. We are waiting for pricing on the tooling to come back. All we can do right now is wait. Patiently.
Thanks for your work on this Steve. The kilt pin I purchased before did lose one of its pins, so I will want another of those when the time comes. I'm also looking forward to seeing the cap badge.

I know I'm late to the party, but is there a follow-up to this in another thread?

The Clan Crest Badges are a reality. I don't know if any are left from the first run or not. Check the propaganda forum for further info.

My understanding is that The Wizard of BC is still looking into a manufacturer for a new run of the XMarks kilt pins. More to come I'm sure.

I bought my XMarks kilt pin from the second run and have never had any problem with the fasteners. I'm surprised Hank did not return to that manufacturer for re-orders.

We're working on it guys and gals. Hank wants to stay with the original design but with better fasteners and Steve has been trying to find just that.

As soon as we have it, we'll let you folks know.

    Thanks

Thanks for the update. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I absolutely love the original design. It's perfect!
