    am I mistaken or did you also put in those little brassy denim rivets like blue jeans have as well?

    They're just bar tacks in a gold thread at the top of the box pleats. Rivets would be cool though! I'd just have to get a tool for it.

    After fighting "flyaway kilt" on the first day of our desert trip, I am gonna put some snaps down the front of my apron on my X-Kilt.

    anyway, that's an aside...this kilt looks GREAT.

    That looks awesome! I made a couple kilts, but I don't think I have the patience to make any more. Otherwise, I'd make something similar! that's a neat effect with the different pattern underneath. Good job!

    Has anybody here tried using rivets yet? I'm working on a denim kilt and think that they might look cool, too, but maybe they'll just look odd and accentuate my rump, circling around it like that! Anybody here got first-hand experience to share?
