    Heres one of mine

This one took 5 and a half hours, it was done at a bike run in Toledo Ohio, the next day I had to ride the bike to Whitby Ontario in Tornado strength rain, with good weather that ride takes 5 hours in that rain it was not a fun ride at all.

I've always really enjoyed those, McMurdo. I'm especially interested in the story behind them.

Are those your boxers or are you wearing your kilt?

So, why have I had that odd white whale avatar the last month or so? 'Cause it's the latest tattoo I've been scheduled to get, lo these many weeks! The artist is the area's best, and booked well ahead at most times.

Anyways, the image is from the famous set of illustrations that Rockwell Kent did for a 1930 edition of Moby-Dick, my all time favorite novel. Here it is, three hours out of the studio (sorry about the flash):

Of course...my brother-in-law got most of his ink done by Chip. I should have known you were talking about him. I'll definitely be making an appointment with him as soon as I have some extra cash.
