That hat looks good, and looks especially good with the shirt and kilt you are wearing.

Now me thinks I should replace the brimmed hat I lost last year.

    Derek,
The hat looks looks great and as James said you got to watch out for skin cancer. Of course you guys at sea level don't have it as bad as we do at 7000 ft. and above, way to close to the sun.

I think the hat goes very well with the combination you are wearing. Looks like the kilt is the Welsh National Tartan - quite beautiful.

That was my first thought! You pull it off magnificently. Personally, I think that accessories have more to do with the person wearing them than the actual item being worn. I could wear that exact same outfit and look rediculous, where you look like Sean Connery. I'm a noggin wrap kind of guy myself.

The Hat looks great. The choice of any accessory is up to the individual and usually only enhances the outfit. For those of us who are beginning to grow through our hair (or have already grown through it), a hat becomes a necessity when in the sun. You choice of hat looks better than a ball cap (which I am most likely to wear with my p**ts).

I say keep the hat. It looks good and you wear it well. Besides, even if neither of those were true, it's more important to wear a hat in the sun than not.
