I don't have cable, so I can only watch what our public television station decides to air.
That said, I like
My Hero
Are You Being Served?
My Family

With a little more thought...
"Bless Me Father" is rather good.
"The Avengers" should go without saying!

Up Stairs, Down Stairs
and for the record: No, Ireland isn't part of the UK nor are we British (that's why we call ourselves Irish). That being the case,
THE IRISH R.M.
A SCARE AT BEDTIME (AKA PODGE & RODGE)
BALLEYKISSANGEL
FATHER TED
are Irish television shows, and all but one (FATHER TED) were filmed, at various times, at my home.

Quintessentially British - the Ealing comedies. Dated but somehow all the more charming. Was Whisky Galore one of them? Sometimes it was called Tight little island.
Sherlock Holmes in all his incarnations, Poirot and Miss Marple, the Forsythe Saga, Upstairs Downstairs, the Dutchess of Duke Street, Foyle's war.
There was a series called, I think, The Inheritance, about a cloth weaving dynasty in the North of England, but I have not seen it ever again since the first screening so it might not survive.
Last of the Summer Wine is just so funny. If I ever find myself with a wearysome protracted illness I will get all of the programs on some sort of perpetual playing device and set it going. That should make for an interesting cause of death.
I presume to dictate to no man what he shall eat or drink or wherewithal he shall be clothed."
