This tops it all Hamish. Super photos along with first class commentary. I wish I could absorb as much info for my photo albums.

Thank you for taking us on your trip, it was a great time and I felt like I had been there with you through your narrative and pictures.

I see you visited the Scottish Tartans Authority H.Q. in Crieff. Does that mean that their tartan museum is still based at there? I used to visit when it was in Edinburgh and knew it had moved to Crieff. However I was in Crieff last year and went to find it but couldn't. I stopped and asked in a highland outfitters in the high street who told me that it had moved to Keith
The pictures are great and you must have had a wonderful time. Inverary is a place I love, and I had one of the most memorable haggis suppers I've ever enjoyed at The George Hotel.
The Kilt is my delight !

Wow this was an awesome road trip!
My wife and I are planning to spend a couple of weeks in Scotland next year, and this looks so good, detailed and 'reviewed' that I followed your trip using Google Earth, and created a .kml that anyone with Google Earth can see here (right click and choose Save Target as, or Select Link as).
The views of Glencoe are angled to try and maych some of your pictures for effect.
Thanks for sharing sir!
