No, I'm not at all a seamster. I could repair some buttons before, that's all.
I was bent on doing the best I can on this kilt project and the instructions from Barb's book was my guidance.

Update: I brought and wore my new denim kilt at an international square dance convention. It was quite the hit!



This picture was taken on the last day of the convention. So it survived with all the pleats intact!

Looks good! I'm in the process of making my own first kilt. Once finished I will be posting pictures. I bet yours came out better than mine will.
