Count me in - we should try to get at least one from each state and provinces, if possible.

Clarification!
I am utterly delighted that some of the fine folks here are interested in being part of this.
I want to make it very clear that Steve is not coordinating the entire journey of the Saltire!* He and Freedom Kilts are only the first stop of a (hopefully) long and fun voyage. Whoever Steve hands off the Saltire to is then responsible to passing her to the next link in our chain that may span the globe. Those living nearby to BC Canada should be the only ones sending him PMs or emails to arrange a handoff.
Keep an eye on this thread and when our mighty Forum's brave zeppelin is headed towards your area then start contacting the current holder.
Cheers
Jamie
* He could do a magnificient job of this with maps, timetables , GPS units, constant monitoring, and a lot of coffee. But I think it would be more fun to see where she goes without a rigid flightplan. Also this would keep Steve from working on the next run of XMTS tartan and XMTS Shirts.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Umm, excuse me but isn't there a stop BEFORE Mr. Ashton gets his grubby, little kilt-making paws on the Saltire? Perhaps somewhere on the B.C. mainland? Where another moderator type may want his picture taken with the great airship? Not ot mention the Kilted Dragon? Maybe at a great pub in say............................Langley, B.C. It is my belief that a certain "kilted gentleman of substance" just happens to reside in said town. I am certain that EVENTUALLY he will forward the Saltire to Mr. Ashton, after the ransom is paid.

I should be so glad that the Saltire finds its way to Ralph and Colin!
Outside of being a bit beer stained it should be all the better for the stop.
Cheers

I'd love to have the Saltire come my way! I know there's a few of us in Colorado and it would be a short trip between us if anybody else is interested.
