By no means I intend to hijack this thread but I only want to have these things clear. Here ( http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/d...140/index.html ) you can see the fringed bottom selvedge of the front apron and I've seen alot of the USA Kilts that have those.

Well well Gunar I have never seen that before, but you are right, well done for "sticking to your guns"! Well, what can I say, other than I have learnt something new.Might I suggest that it is very unusual, particularly in Scotland!
