I'm working a fashion show tonight, kilted in my new black XKilt with the new hose from SportKilt. Back off topic, the DJ is previewing show music; something with too much beat but decent melody this time. I played some old fashion show music of my own for rehearsal this afternoon, I remember Fergie.

I have a homemade CD of various artists that I listen to. I usually have it in my Jeep, and since I just picked my daughter and her friend up from the movies, I've been listening to Albannach, Bad Haggis, Enter the Haggis, Peatbog Faeries, Rathkeltair, Barley Juice, and Great Big Sea. Each group outstanding in their own right. Time for bed. Night all.

I have close to 1600 songs on my laptop's hard drive. I set Winamp to shuffle through them so I can hear anything from Patsy Cline to Frank Zappa. Most of my music falls into the "70's AM rock" genre, though.

My external hard drive has upwards of 12,000 songs. What can I say? I have eclectic tastes.
Recently, it has been:
-Radiohead
-Tom Waits
-MC5
-Battlefield Band
-Ralph Vaughan Williams
-Leahy (older stuff, I didn't really like Lakefield)
-Merle Haggard
-Daft Punk
-Muse
-Skynyrd
-R. Crumb and the Cheap Suit Serenaders
-the business
-Smashing Pumpkins
-Bowie

hmmm
I don't know what it is, but lately I've been revisiting my hardcore metal roots and have been getting into Viking / Folk Metal as of late:
Ensiferum
Sig:Ar:Tyr
Wintersun
FinnTroll
Carved In Stone
Fjörd
Nebelhorn

Lately I've even toyed with the idea of "reforming" my old metal band from the 80's, but don't know *if* the ol' pipes (vocals) will handle it, I really abused them back in the day.

I like to listen to country( and western) not the modern type but the "old"country singers.
My favorite singer is Johnny Cash.

A review of the current CD changer line-up reveals;
E-Muzeki (2 disks)
Glengarry Bhoys
The Rouges
Paisley Close
The Blaggards
Needfire
I just noticed that except for the Glengarry Bhoys, these are all Texas based bands
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.

Go onto Amazon.com's website and use their listen to tracks feature. I've bought a lot of country stuff this way as country radio is non-existent here. BBC also didn't cover the CMA awards either this year which I always look forward to.
