hrmmm....you know I think that "double duty" is a major selling point.
So if we were to go diced.......what two colors would the socks be?
xmarks navy and x marks grey?

    I need an opinion here:

Would these work with the Texas Blue Bonnet Tartan as well?

I was thinking that diced would be the way to go (and cheaper to boot)

My thought was the royal blue and white or royal blue and gray

Is the thin stripe in the modern TBB tartan white or yellow?

If white then then the blue/white hose would work I think. It is a bit hard to tell based on the computer generated swatches I was able to look up online.

    Cheers

will a blue and grey....just look..too dark...or perhaps even dirty? and how will a blue and white look any different than your average highland dancer's socks?

maybe full tartan is the way to after all?? a blue and grey with a distinct white and yellow strip???

i dunno...just throwing thoughts out there

    $83.00!

    Getting close

Thinking about it I personally would like the two color diced hose

I think that white and (one of the) blue worn with traditional yellow garter flashes would be a great match with the XMTS tartan

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

Not bad, what about yellow and blue with white garter flashes? I like the idea of the white kind of popping out as a flash instead of as part of the hose.

    Rob,

Personally that sounds like too much yellow for my tastes

Also I think that yellow garter ties could be used with grey, navy, or even white hose with the XMTS tartan for less formal events.

As an Alton Brown fan I am thinking of multi-tasking here

    Cheers
