Great set of photographs Glen, as usual. Thanks for posting. I am feeling kind of stupid today; can you explain, just what is the Scottish Studies Foundation? and why do they have a Boat Cruise? I feel I am missing something really obvious - but I just can't see it.

    Regards

    Chas

Thanks for the great pictures and for sharing them with us. Is this an annual event? Toronto is not that far (5 - 6 hours) away. What is the general cost of the cruise? Maybe next year we'll come up and invite the Kincardine ON family with us.

It is an anual thing, the cost is $20.00 each, well worth it I think.

Thanks Glen - I see it all now. How fantastic for you, a real injection of Scottish culture, right on your own doorstep. I feel so jealous. Thanks again for posting.

    Regards

They can discribe it much better than I here is their website
    http://www.scottishstudies.com/

This is the first paragraph from the front page which explains it rather well.

The Scottish Studies Foundation is a Canadian charitable organization established to encourage research, both inside and outside universities, in Scottish culture -- history, literature, religion, art, law, and in Scottish migrations to North America; and to publish historical studies and documents relating to Scottish culture and migrations.

Basically the boat cruise is to raise money.
