Hello Dee,
I'm glad to hear you are going to make it back to Dumfries this year. Unfortunately I won't see you because I'm booked for the January weekend.
I would like to come in March some day, but this year I may be back in the USA for a couple of weeks during that time period.
Hope you enjoy your trip. I know I'm anxious to go in a couple of weeks!
Tom

I'll be driving up to The Ferintosh on the Friday of the March weekend for three nights, and should arrive in good time for the pub crawl !
Take care,
Ham.
[PS: Hope I am allowed alcohol again by then!!]

Alex--Is it not Ponteland for Newcastle Airport.
The original airport was at the village of Woolsington on the south side of the runway (The nineteen thirties art deco terminal building still stands) but the new nineteen sixties terminal was built on the north side of the runway at the village of Prestwick. The airport was often referred to as Woolsington, to avoid confusion with the nearby military airfield at Ouston, but I don't think the new terminal was ever called Prestwick, that would have caused confusion with the Ayrshire Prestwick, although the correct postal address for much of the airport infrastructure is Prestwick. Ponteland is about a mile or two further out of the city from the airport, but is better known because it is a much larger village than Woolsington or Prestwick.

Now I just can't wait for the January pics. I can sustain myself on those until March.

Glad to hear you're coming John!
Sorry I couldnt sound too impressed/excited on a busy train, especially with a few drunk people surrounding me!

Nice to hear your going to be keeping busy over the next few months but hopefully not too busy that you won’t be able to enjoy yourself, I’m sure everyone who’s is due to attend any of the upcoming events is really looking forward to it. I know I am eagerly waiting next weekend
