I was shopping for shirts, vests, and ties last night! I think I have decided to commit to the purchase over the next three months. I have a military formal in March which will, of course, require my Army Mess uniform. I will probably be black tie, as per the norm...will have to see what the invitation says. I'd really love to upgrade to white tie. Either way, I think I'm going to get myself a new cummerbund and self-tie bow tie in silk to replace my current commercial grade satin ones that I currently have. I already have a quality shirt...so I think it's time to learn how to tie a bow tie...finally.
