Dammit. Now I have to think of something else...

Isn't doing something different to be different, in the end, just being the same as all the others who are doing the different things.... Nah, cream always comes to the surface, go forth and conquer....

So- this is the button style that I chose for my waistcoat:
I also chose a dark purple for the lining and lapels- if I hadn't already mentioned that!

call me crezzy...
Nighthawk, I may be wrong, but I believe you are a gentleman of some girth. Ask Hothir to set those buttons a little farther apart (horizontally) and see how that looks. I would hate to see the proportions thrown off by putting them too close together, especially when there is , ahem, PLENTY OF ROOM...
Just one lowlife's opinion, mind you.

I would say I'm a little offended... but I'm not a little anything!

MacLowlife, I've come to accept that it's none of my business where Nighthawk's buttons are. I'm not an expert... in anything. I'm, more or less, a cockroach around here, and try to stay out of the way; scurrying across the floor, from time to time, trying to not be stomped on by the "Great Ones."
All that being said, in my mind, what you suggest makes sense.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
