I'm planning on a knife pleat and am having mine made by Paul Henry.

You'll all probably have enough scraps left over to make a kilt for this little guy.

That is scary. I already asked Lady Chrystel to make on for mine -

And the madness from the tartan that must not be sets in...

Though I have to say it's an attractive tartan and I look forward to working with it. Thanks everyone for their orders.

Now, I just need to get Ryan to explain all the jargon to me next time he's up in Franklin...

You are indeed the emissary of grim tidings

We thank you for bearing such a horrific burden.

I've never been shy to take one for the team, Scott. Your support is much appreciated, especially during such trying times as these.

EDIT: You don't have those kilt pins ready yet, do you? oop:

DOUBLE EDIT: I've just had a thought, if you can believe that. For any of you guys that would like a bit of... assistance, if any of you order a bonnet in the future and would like the Eldar Sign needle felted into the inside of the band, just make a note of that in the special instructions sections. I'll be happy to do it, if for no other reason than that in may help to stem the onset of my own Darkness.

    I'm torn, torn, torn!

    Torn between Matt's 5yd Kingussie, his 6yd box-pleat or the 6yd knife-pleat.

    After seeing this:

and MoR's review I started thinking about the Kingussie over the 4yd box-pleat.

    THEN, this comes along:

Which looks amazing, and I think would be quite cool with the dark field of the tartan showing and the green stripe hidden in the pleats.

THEN Matt comes along and reposts this pic I haven't seen for a while:

Which would also be great centered on the purple treble stripe with the green hidden in the pleat.

I think I'll probably play it safe and add an extra 1/2 yard to my total so, either way, I'll have enough for the bias cut waistcoat.

    A. Don't worry about Matt. He's tartan designer to the Bishop of Rome, y'know.

    B. There are some interesting pieces in Badali Jewelry's collection. Perhaps a couple of Eldar signs to go along with your Miskatonic class ring?
