John Candy even had a similar moustache in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Sadly, though, he did not mix it with the hat, cigar, and the drill.
I wish I was that observant. That was a perfect moment and you caught it beautifully. haha.

I laughed too... But indeed I did try to shape a pencil-thin gangster mustache or French mustache (or John Candy mustache for that matter)... And the drill pose with the cigar is pretty spot on.
Fortunately, I'm probably a good 50lb or more lighter than the unfortunate, late Mr. Candy...

Um... how exactly is that done? A ceremony of some sort?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Something like that, not too sure...maybe go around asking people "What's in YOUR wallet?"

Don't know, don't care.
We'll be breaking new ground here, and making things up as we go along.
I think a "Long Shirt Night" would be in order. Count me in.

I'm just here to make a couple observations.
First, the fairy God Father idea is AWESOME! Not sure I'd have the stones to pull it off, but I'll be contemplating theft of that idea for next year.
Secondly, I fully cop to knowing what movie the Dread Pirate Roberts is from. I've enjoyed everything I've ever seen Cary Elwes in.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

Please. Steal away... Maybe it'll win you a contest or two as well. And I'll be glad to share some of the lessons I learned the hard way to save you some grief.

As Robert Longshirt sang in Shirt Zeppelin's song Shirttails to Heaven:
"and a new day will dawn for the shirts worn long, and the forest will echo with laughter."

Apologies to Led Zeppelin, and Robert Plant.
