Emerging from the Cathedral Steps through the glacial rocks of Loon Mountain NH.
The passage dips in the middle but you can just make out a chink of light from the entrance on the other side.
And no I didn't meet JRB among the rocks, see post #6.

Not quite what Alan asked for, but I was going to wear pan!s to church this morning.
At -38F going out to the driveway to start the car was 'doing something,' hopefully adequate to the spirit of the thread. Current (mid day) accuweather temp is -42F, slow sever at www.newsminer.com .
I stand by my hypothesis last year that a wool tank is a fine piece of winter gear for standing still or walking short distances. Walking briskly or middling far distances, not a good idea.
No, I am not going to drag my tripod and camera out in the cold with me.
