    Quick update: I received the doublet and it is really in fantastic shape. Fits me like a glove... except the sleeves, which I knew would probably need to be lengthened. There is enough material at the cuff to let out, so I just need to get around to bringing it to a tailor.

    I believe the word is "scraping" when used in reference to the bottom of the barrel. However, in the context of Ebay bidding, "scrapping" is totally appropriate!
