My wedding!
I've just arrived back from Spain, and getting married! It was amazing and the weather was gorgeous- if ever so slightly warm for kilts, or suits for that matter! (high 30s - celcius).
I'm still waiting for the high definition pics from the photographers, but already have some in lower resolution (including this one which I like a lot). It was my first opportunity to model my new Artificer sporran (commissioned for the occasion), as well as my new kilt, doublet and hose. The doublet and waistcoat were made to measure from MacKenzie Frain. My mum had the hose made in NZ by a local sock maker.
I received some fantastic advice here on how to put together and accessorise my outfit, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I value the opinions and criticisms of the rabble here, and even though I didn't implement every piece of advice offered (that would be impossible), I think I was able to come up with my own take on the traditional kilted groom (which is why I'm posting here in my favourite forum!)
The Artificer sporran (with cantle-plate made by my father) was the jewel in the crown, and it drew plenty of admiration!

Cheers all!
More pics to follow...!
