Proud Father of the Beautiful Bride

The Big Day finally arrived on Saturday. My beloved, only daughter, Lorna married her wonderful Beau, Neil at The Hub on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. We've been planning the day for 18 months. Part of my own planning was commissioning this beautiful new sporran from Scott, The Artificer.

I had promised "action shots", but I needed to wait for the big day for it's debut. The photos from the day are coming in slowly but surely. If there is sufficient interest, I'll happily post more in a separate new thread.

Sorry for the small size of the photos. I haven't figured out how to make them larger yet.

Cheers, all - and thank you so much, Scott for your magnificent artistic and very personal contribution to the joy of the day.

With the exception of the lovely bride, I cannot image anyone else was decked out in grander fashion than yourself. The sporran is magnificent with the rest of your wardrobe. We do indeed wish to see more pictures. Personally, I would like to know more about your buckle brogues, hose, and waistcoat. Well turned-out, sir! (And do extend the congratulations and well-wishes of the Rabble to the happy couple!)

    Well Done, John!

Congratulations to both you and your daughter the lovely beaming bride. You both look absolutely marvelous. Her smile in the first shot really says it all. Your whole outfit is smashing, btw!

I almost never get to hand deliver a sporran, and rarely get to see them worn, so I love action pix. And the very best kind are from weddings- Very little can top a wedding for happiness.

Thank you again for these (and any others that you'd care to post along the way).
