As per some sound advice I touched up my Docs. I also dyed them a darker shade of blue to match my belt and sporran. They look SO MUCH BETTER!! I might have to redo this photo just to exploit my new shine-job!

    :-D

I know...pics or it didn't happen. Must wait for daylight.

So...I used some polish and finishing rub on these boots. WOW! They look good! I also relaced them with a bar-lacing method. Very clean looking. I highly recommend it.

Ha! That certainly would be a lot of blue!

I wore this same kilt with a yellow shirt the other day. It looked decent. Yellow isn't usually my colour (too 'cheery' as a primary clour)...but t actually looked really sharp.

Oh! Golly! I just realised that there was a serious typo on my earlier thread. No, I didn't dye my Docs (or anything else blue). I was typing that and got totally sidetracked and didn't self-edit before posting.

    Lol!

Pics to follow later. I DID, however, dye them a darker shade of brown and bar lace them.

I must not multi-task whilst typing.

Many apologies, Liam. Here is a pic. I just re-shined them and used a leather lotion rub on them to buff them better and protect the leather.

I still can't see the pic in the OP. Does anyone else have that issue?
