Nice rig for sure, dont be fooled by Mpix though. Thinking a upgraded lens is a wiser purchase.

45% of my day is spend color correcting/retouch images for offset press use. I shoot a D70, w/ a 10.2 or 50mm... at only 5.2mp it works just fine for highrez shots under 9x12 at 300ppi. Most shots are shared on the web or printed on digital printers not using 1/4 of the resolution needed. In fact I will put up the images shot with my first digital Nikon CP990 point and click, 3.2mp "purchased over 13 years ago" against most 10mp on the market today.

Anyway, your images look awesome, color accurate, clean and crisp... love to see the raw files. Thanks again.

I was using a nikon d3100 and a 70-300mm lens. I never use the lens above 200 though because the images get really soft and out of focus. My daughter just got the 3200 and now I am really tempted. I shot for a few days in yellowstone with it and the extra pixel size does compensate for a weak telephoto at least in some ways.
