Of the students in the Contemporary course Bikercelt was the first to finish his kilt.

This is a kilt in the Contemporary style,
    Mid Waist Height
    Machine Stitched
    With 2 Side Slash Pockets

Jamie had never sewn anything but a button before showing up for the first day of class.

He had never operated a sewing machine and certainly not one of my industrial machines.

For a guy walking into the course totally cold without knowing what to expect beforehand, all I have to say is - Well Done Jamie.

    I wear the kilt because:
    Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

I would suggest a “well done” to the instructors as well!

    Important Note:
A handmade kilt and shopping at Freedom Kilts puts ones luggage weight waaay OVER limits!

And I have to make special mention of Barbs baking .... she’s adopting me so I can eat her cakes!

I think you mean Brenda, not Barb (although Barb T is probably also a great cook). Brenda took Kilt Kamp in 2016, and she volunteered to do a lot of baking for this Kamp. She also led the tour at the Inca Dinca Do fibre mill on Thursday. Here is a photo from 2016:

She even grinds her own flour!

BTW, in cleaning out the Kamp 'fridge we found an unopened box of TimTams in Turkish Delight flavour! Score!

    Enjoy your travels....!
