Re: Kiltmaker's Input Requested, & Who Wants Cthulu Tartan Yardage?

For those who have received their tartan (or at least been advised of shipping costs), can I ask how much your shipping charge was?
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, none is possible.

Don't have the exact number at hand, but it was about $50 US to have 4 yards shipped to Barb Tewksbury.

I, too, have not heard back from them after being told that they were "working thru" all the orders. In theory ours was to ship out last Monday. But I've received neither email nor receipt via snailmail to confirm costs. I'm sure hoping the ~20yds we sent to Matt doesn't equal $250 in shipping!

My 8 yards are going to cost me a whooping 70 pounds to ship to Tennessee. I think I am going to be buried in the fabric, it comes so dear

I spoke to them today enquiring where the bit coming to me was, and was told that it will go out by the end of this week, of course when I rang them early last week and paid for the delivery I was also told by the end of that week .....

I know that they have other orders to fulfil as well ( and I'm sure that we are all happy that that their business seems to busy , after a fairly uncertain period) but if only they were able to keep us up to speed on the arrangements. I actually made the point that I am in the UK and that surely it would be easier to send my bit to me without all the attendant paperwork that is is needed for the "foreign" deliveries , but I'm afraid that it didn't carry much weight, ah well, I hope to see it sometime next week!

I tried that myself when I phoned yesterday, you would think that being closer it would be faster for our members in the UK to get the order.
