Hmm, Is it harder to import whisky into Tasmania? I haven't had any trouble finding Laphroaig or Ardbeg here in New York. In fact, I recently tried Laphroaig quarter cask at a highland games and asked my local "package store" if they could order me a bottle. He had it in his shop within a week and liked it so much he decided to keep it in stock full time. If you haven't tried Laphroaig quarter cask, and can get ahold of a bottle, I highly recommend it.
