I hope the event happens, but I won't be there.

THe Flamingo, Paris,Rio.Balley's,and Cesear's Palace are all operated by the same peolpe and all except the Rio are across from one another. If we can get a group discount it may apply to all of these hotels and that would allow a wider variety of accommodations.

We'll be there! I just finished making reservations on Allgient Air for April 19th through the 22nd. Got a smoking deal for flights, room and shuttle, considering the podunk airport we are leaving from $700). Some of you guys who live in the less populus areas might want to check them out.
Any way we are up for the games and the gaming and are looking forward to meeting or at least seeing some of our kilted brethren in LV.
See you there!
Rob

I'm still interested. Gina and I are working on our schedules. Are we going to try to make this "formal" or will we just be a bunch of friends who meet up for a good time and plan our time together on the fly? Either way works for me. I just like to know the ground rules going in.

Back in September I stated that I was 'on' for this event, but since there does not seem to be a confirmed date apart from "April", I think you'd best now count me 'out'. Sorry about that, guys, but coming from the United Kingdom means that flights, accommodation and the peripherals have to be booked well in advance, and arrangements at this end, such as house-sitting, etc. have to be organised. Another year perhaps!
In any case, it looks like I'll have the great pleasure of a Storrington visit by Robert of R-Kilts, together with his father at the end of April.
