My biggest jones is waiting for my Grandmum to ship the 8 yrd Cunningham she recently finished for me.
My next Jones is two part. I had a stint at MEPS last weekend while attempting to join the U.S. Navy reserves. I failed for my eyes, to great a degree of refraction, but my Navy liason is trying to get a waiver. I am really jonesing for that waiver right now. It sucks to sit and wait to find out something so important. Anyway, if I do get in, I am going to order a USAK in the U.S. Navy tartan because I really like it and will have a legitimate reason to sport it!

Two jones' right now. Ordered the Pride of New Zealand box pleat from Matt Newsome last week - guess that will be a several month jones.
The other is this fabric from England, bought on eBay 10 days ago.
It's WEATHERED GLEN CRAIGLOCH TARTAN from Peter MacArthur of Hamilton, a mill now closed. Have not been able to find it on the Tartan Ferret so assume it is a fashion tartan, but I liked the colors and sett. Will be holding this to make a box pleat once Matt and Barb publish their instructions.

Well it is official now...I have ordered the 8 yard machine stitched Isle of Skye from ScottishKilts.net. I requested it be pleated to "no stripe" since I saw the kilt made by Barb T. From what I understand, the turnaround time is very quick, so hopefully I'll be posting pics in a month or two.
Regards,
Tom

Well ok, here goes. I'm jonesing for only three kilts. All three 16oz wool, Scottish made, and in my home by years end. An Ulster Weathered, a Donegal from Lochcarron, and an Isle of Skye. All three knife pleated to the sett. There!

Yesssssss !!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was a long-ish box from Freedom Kilts (yes Steve spelled my name wrong) (again ...) waiting for me when I got home last night /this morning.
I'm thinking it's time to go shopping for a grey shirt (pics when I get it to go with what's in the box)
1 down, 3 to go

Currently jonesing for my USAK Grey Granite Semi-Trad, but I know I don't have too much longer to wait! Also jonesing for this great Lion Rampant kilt pin (not with a sword, but just a big lion), and maybe a pair of grey or black hose. Then it'll be on to jonesing for an 8-yard tank (probably from Rocky as well!), and some more semi-trads and belts and...well, I've already been bitten, and I don't even have my first kilt just yet!
Also not kilt-related, but I'm also jonesing to do a Warmoth guitar buildup and have someone paint it in either a tartan or Saltire pattern.
