    Ron --

There is plenty of "give" in the bottom of the shirt. Hopefully, you would notice no difference when you sit.

I too like the idea of a long shirt, which is the way shirts actually were for the highlanders wearing kilts, very practical!

Have you thought of a three-quarter buttoned front? (closed at the bottom with three buttons or so from the collar)

I'd like to know when you are in production with the shirts.

I promised everyone that I would have the final details for the Kilt Shirt today, so here they are.

Size XS will fit someone with a neck of 13"-13 ½", a chest of 30-32", and a sleeve of 31-32". In general, the length of the shirt would fit someone who is 5'3" - 5'6".

Size S will fit someone with a neck of 14"-14 ½", a chest of 34-36", and a sleeve of 32-33". In general, the length of the shirt would fit someone who is 5'5" - 5'8".

Size M will fit someone with a neck of 15"-15 ½", a chest of 38"-40", and a sleeve of 33"-34". In general, the lenth of the shirt would fit someone who is 5' 6" - 5' 9".

Size L will fit someone with a neck of 16"-16 ½", a chest of 42"-44", and a sleeve of 34"-35". In general, the length of the shirt would fit someone who is 5' 8" - 5' 11".

Size XL will fit someone with a neck of 17"-17 ½", a chest of 46"-48", and a sleeve of 35"-36". In general, the length of the shirt would fit someone who is 5' 9" - 6'.

Size XXL will fit someone with a neck of 18"-18 ½", a chest of 50"-52" , and a sleeve of 36"-37". In general, the length of the shirt would fit someone who is 5' 11" - 6'2".

These shirts are cut very full and generous. If you are between sizes go down 1 size.

Again here are the other details.

The available fabrics are 100% Cotton (available in natural), 55%/45% Hemp/Cotton (available in natural, beige, cranberry, blue, black) and 100% Hemp (available in natural).

    The stock features are:
Your choice of Rolled Collar w/ stand, Grandfather Collar, button-down Collar.
Your choice of Button Cuffs or French Cuffs.
    A chest Pocket if wished

As noted in an earlier post, "a shirt order becomes a custom order when what the individual wants requires us to modify the "stock" pattern. So, lengthening or shortening the sleeves, making them puffy or more flowing like some Jacobite shirts, changing the collar or the type of front closure, altering the proportions between neck, chest, etc. -- these are custom modifications."

The price for the shirts is dependant on the fabric.

    100% Cotton $60.00 stock $80.00 custom
    55/45/ Hemp/Cotton $90.00 stock $110.00 custom
    100% Hemp $120.00 stock $140.00 custom

We are in production NOW and can accept orders via phone or e-mail.

Something tells me I will need to order a custom shirt since (according to your size chart) I have M sleeve, a L chest and a XL neck. Never can find a shirt that fits properly. When will you be taking custom orders?

Do those come in angry dwarf sizes? The sleeves on the XXL would be entirely to long for me, and the overall length would hang probably to my feet. At a towering 5 foot 5, I'd be wearing an ankle length shirt.

Neck size is about 24 inches last I looked and my chest is about 55 inches. I really love those shirts though... It is SO HARD to find a shirt that fits me proper. And I love the cut and style. Grandfather collar. (Contrary to popular belief, I do have a neck. Sort of) Mm. I want one.

Just wondering, how big is the upper sleeve? I always have a hard time with fitted shirts in that area. My upper arms are every bit as big as my neck or bigger. The price you have listed is about half the price any place local has offered to make custom fitted dress shirts.

ty possingk, glad somebody got it. MacTavishOfJapan, don cherry is a hockey icon, former coach of the boston bruins, well known for his rock em sock em hockey vid/dvd's. he also does a show in between periods on hockey night in canada called 'coachs corner'. he is known for being very outspoken but he is really well known for his wild suits (including full on tartan suits) and his dress shirts with 3" heavily starched collars.
