I'm down to my last few glasses of my Glenfiddich 18yo so I'll be needing to get myself a new bottle of something soon. If I can find that and it's within my spending limits, I'll pick it up. I'm guessing it will be a little difficult to find and pricey, seeing as how they don't even mention it on their website. Thanks for the suggestion.

Has anyone tried the Auchentoshan 21? I read the tasting notes for it and it seems like one I'd want to try, but it's fairly expensive so I would like some review before I take the plunge.

Thanks P1M for all your great info on the Water of Life. I just wish I could buy some decent single malts here.
I love Laphroaig but find even that difficult to find.

It depends on the model. Some just pull air out. This will preserve the contents short term, about two weeks for wine. Regarding whisk(e)y, it is generally more long lasting than wine but I recently had to dispose of about 4 ounces of Blantons bourbon that I had forgotten about. It had turned milky and did not smell too friendly. This web site http://maltadvocate.com/ is great for all things malted.
