Interesting thread.
I can't add anything, I live in a place surrounded by nature...spiders, deadly snakes, I love great heights (as long as I am secure), I'd love to try skydiving.
I think meeting a White pointer while scubadiving would soil my wetsuit, but I've never met one. I did have a fear of deep water, but I took up scubadiving to help overcome that (it worked).
I don't have any fears, but I'm not fearless, I try to live carefully and not take unnecessary risks.

Ok, add really deep dark water to my list too. I swam out over a ledge when I was diving off Jamaica and although it wasn't terribly deep, I couldn't see anything below me but dark, cobalt blue water and I swam back to where I could see bottom as fast as I could. Get's my heart racing just talking about it.

Spiders, without a doubt. (scorpions dont bother me, & they're also arachnids, so I dont know why spiders should)
Injections. Spinal tap & chemotherapy cured me of any possibility of ever dealing with getting a shot rationally.
Bungee jumping. It's just WRONG!!!

1. Going too fast if I am not in control of the vehicle, i.e. roller coasters.
I can handle maybe one roller coaster ride a DAY if we go to an
amusement park that has them, but it unsettles me for AWHILE.
2. Watching needle-sticks (giving blood or getting a shot) given to ME.
(I can watch other people get stuck without any problems),
also, watching my OWN wounds get stitched up... which fortunately
hasn't been necessary for a very long time. Maybe I've outgrown my
sensitivity to it by now?

LK-13: I was single '85-'06.
What scares me: heights (my proof I love my wife - I get up on the roof and clean the gutters - twice a year!). Water can scare me - boating, that sorta thing - I've been working on it by doing a float trip with friends on a local river, the Grande Ronde (with wetsuit, life jacket, and lots of beer - counterproductive, I know, but that's how they got me into the innertube/raft, depending on the year) It's now a highlight of my summer, the 1-2 camping trips we do this... now if only my wife (she's the '06!) would feel more comfortable...

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

"Going too fast if I am not in control of the vehicle."
This one gets me too. I can handle speed, as long as I am the one behing hte wheels/bars. I haul 60-70 down backroads, but if I am riding shotgun, I'm grabbing the dash at those speeds.
I've blasted over 100mph on a 30 year old bike down a backroad where the speed limit was 45, but I think if someone else was behind the controls I would have fainted or something!
I too have a fear of injections. Not needles entirely, as I have had many piercings in my time, and a few tattoos... but hypodermic needles freak me out BIG TIME.
