I feel that the front can cover the front by a couple of inches without affecting the sporran. Anymore than that I'd look for another vest. Another find would be a full bodied wool/tweed vest rather than tweed at the front and satin at the back. When I ordered my vest and Braemer from USAK I forgot to order my vest in full tweed. The extra cost would have been worth it.
Great! That answers some questions I've been wondering about. Over in another thread I have a corduroy jacket and vest conversion being talked about, and I was having a difficult time understanding what to do to the vest. I might also go ask some questions in a USAK thread on their jackets...
Thanks.

Anyway, some of these vests, I have a few of them, seem to work with the sporran. The vests from the suit jackets have the different material for the back... I like the idea of a single material vest for wearing on it's own with the kilt. I do have a black leather vest that I have worn with a solid color kilt, and that seems to work well. I keep it unbuttoned though because I'm wearing it as casual dress.

Ok, I found it. The name of the brown tweed shoes that I have been wearing is "Globe Men's Castro Shoes." That brand has other shoes with strange things and paterns on them, but like I said, I have the brown tweed style. Here's a link to a site that sells them.

I'm not too pleased with the look of the edges of the soles, but people have been telling me they look good with my Weathered Lamont kilt.

Ok, I finally, thanks to the new photo gallery, have a picture of me in a BZK Kakhi. This is a Christmas picture, so I am opening a gift. Also, I don't know if they are in this picture, but I am wearing the brown tweed Castro shoes.
* I've removed the picture, so I don't have to keep track of it.
And Now that I think about it, this was a pantsless Christmas for me. I spent Christmas, before and after, at other peoples homes and took kilts to wear rather than pants.

Hey Alan! Go for the Mexican and Southwestern style design on the apron and the edge of each pleat. If you don't do it, you won't have it!

Although Alan, I was talking to a lady the other day who had one of those computer-connected embroidery machines, and I would bet that you could put all kinds of things on the apron.

There's a local gal hereabouts that has a business... "nine needles" who can put pretty much anything in 9 colors or less, in embroidery with her nifty machines.

I point out to you the logo in the back. I'm thinking that the logo, about 6 inches around, embroidered on the lower right corner of a black X-Kilt overapron would be killer, and show my true incinations.
