I came to America when I was 17 and joined the US Navy and served for 33 years. I wore my kilt constantly when not in uniform with never a hint of anything but respect from anyone. Especially US Marines, who I feel particularly close too as my father fell at Chosin Reservoir with the Black Watch alongside the USMC. The USMC and the Black Watch have always had a very special relationship since then. Get a Leatherneck tartan kilt and share the story of Frozen Chosin with them. They will be proud!
