    That is cool.

I feel your pain, I just quit in September after 25 years of cigarettes:
    Time Smoke-Free: 250 days, 16 hours, 37 minutes and 29 seconds

    Cigarettes NOT smoked: 6267

Lifetime Saved: 1 month, 17 days, 20 hours

    Money Saved: $1,568.75

Sunflower seeds helped me a lot for both the oral fixation and the cravings (I didn't like to smoke while eating). Plus, if you get the unsalted, they are much better for you than candy. After the initial two weeks, it's was pretty smooth sailing until this month. For some reason I have been having cravings for a nice cigar. I assume it's just my addiction is making a last-ditch effort to reclaim it's hold on me. Now that I have kicked the smoking habit, I need to work on my sunflower seed addiction.

Congratulations and good luck. Just keep at it and eventually, life will be a whole lot sweeter.

Two stories. 1. A good freind of mine and his wife qduit smoking together. They saved enough money to buy a big screen TV in less than a year. They are both healthier today (except for sitting in front of the TV),

When I was single, I wanted to date a woman that smoked. After the first date I broke it off. She asked why and I told her. Kissing smoker is like licking an ashtray. She stopped right away. We dated a more times, then I met my future bride. But she stopped. she is married now (to a non smoker) and is very happy. She still credits me with making her quit. Good Luck. And think about the litter you wont be causing.
