    Nick,

What a fascinating read that was, and I thank you for maintaining your ideals and high business standards. Some of the facts I already knew, of course, but others came as a burst of fresh air. Well done.

My warmest Good Wishes to Adele and you for the forthcoming Happy Event - I have just written to Adele separately - and it is a comforting thought that there will be a wee Fiddes around in the future to take over the Scotweb reins when the time comes!

    Congratulations to you both.

    Take care,
    Ham.

Wow, thats very informative Nick. It's nice to read a little history - ok so I'm a geek and like news and history stuff like that ;-)

I'm new to the world of kilts, have been wanting to celebrate my heritage and I came across your site in my research, even before I found this forum. Thanks to your site I found a tartan that represents both maternal sides of my mother and father - the perfect way to celebrate my full heritage! So far only your site and two others offer this tartan with your site being the middle priced one (one guess as to who offers the lower price.) I'm saving up to get the tartan :-) Of course I'm going to try to win the one you're giving away....

Thanks for all the work you do!

Excellent job with that. I - and I'm sure many others here - would be interested in knowing the vendors who copy and reproduce on the cheap and sell at highly inflated prices.

Just keep reading the forum. You'll figure them out soon enough. No sense naming them all as that could be seen as slander.

Thanks for the background info Nick. You sound like you have really thought out and worked hard to establish a reputable business with great appeal to customers.

First of all, the history is fascinating read. Secondly, what a great prize and most generous
offer. I'm sure you will get some excellent suggestions for the new website design.

As a lass, I would like to see more choices for us! I cannot find any casual wear (shirts)for just hanging out! And you only have one (1) dress shirt to choose from!

I would also like to see a better selection of skirt lengths. Not just 16" & knee length. I am not a youngster and don't like to show my *** either! But neither do I like to go around in a floor length skirt when it isn't formal. Below the knee would be nice for a choice! And what about brooches? and ladies kilt pins? etc.

I hate telling ya'll, we all don't have those "perfect" bodies and don't feel that for proprieties(sp) sake that we can wear 16" skirts and Corsets. (We Can wish though!) But face it guys, We gals don't all feel that we can wear that stuff! Give us some stuff for "real" women and probably we will wear it more often!

    That's my two cents worth!

I'd love to be able to wear my MacIntyre tartan in more ways than just a rosette or sash, but I face it that I'm not a kid anymore and even at 5'10"tall, I just don't feel that comfortable showing that much leg to everyone! ;)

Thanks for the feedback Trela. Firstly, most of our skirts are made to order, and can be made in pretty much any length or other dimensions you wish, in most styles. And if you enter and win our contest (opening soon!!) we'll be happy to substitute one for the kilt on offer as the prize! I hear what you're saying about other products for women, and I have to agree that we'd like to expand our range of shirts etc. The problem has been finding the right products at the right quality, but I'll discuss this further with my colleagues. Brooches I thought we'd a pretty good range of - but they're mostly classified under jewellery. And kilt pins are mostly unisex I'd have said, though I admit they're found under menswear as it's mostly guys who purchase them.

Watch this space by the way, as we've a new Ladies' photoshoot happening in a couple of weeks, which will bring the launch of new products soon thereafter.

    If you've particular requests, we're listening. :-)
