My son's wedding, 2 years ago, was a Scottish wedding.
On the invitations, we put "Scottish Highland or semi-formal attire"
Apart from the Wedding party and parents (and grandparents!)
over 25 guests came in kilts.
It was a blast.

from coastal North Carolina. I just got married and we had all the males in the wedding party kilted. Rented from the Scottish Tartan Museum in Franklin, NC. Talk to Matt Newsome there, he's a member of this forum and a wealth of knowledge about tartans and things Scottish.
