Now that, that was warm and heartfelt! Moran taing!!
I wish that my extenuating circumstances allowed for it. I would have accepted your wee dram and probably offered you many more of mine.

    Post some pics soon!
Glad you guys had a grand time!

    Pix

I'll put a new thread in the photos forum, but for anyone interested in checking here . . .

We shared our celebraiton with everyone in town as our piper played in the street as the kilte rabble gathered. Dennis Duncan of the Atholl Highlanders did the honors.

Until the sun passed over, it was warm enough to enjoy the fresh air in front of the Tavern and keep the local folks wondering what we were up to:

25 attendees filled our small space:

It may look big, but it was all gone in short fashion.

Turpin addressed the warm, reekin', rich puddin' as it should be done:
    Jim Killman
Writer, Philosopher, Teacher of English and Math, Soldier of Fortune, Bon Vivant, Heart Transplant Recipient, Knight of St. Andrew (among other knighthoods)
Freedom is not free, but the US Marine Corps will pay most of your share.

AH Man! Turpin's "Address To A Haggis" is something you don't want to miss. He's brilliant at it, even though he won't admit it! Those pics are fantastic, well done =)
    Everyone looks quite the article.
    Cheers,

Sorry I missed it. I will certainly have to strong-arm the boss next year into getting the night off work.
    Glad you all had fun.

From Turpin's gestures I would guess he was at the "weel swall'd kytes belive are bent like drums" stage.

Not if you have memorised the Address to the Haggis it isn't!

I can only image...Turpin has a natural ability as an Actor, which makes his "Address" s' math sin!! I, however, am impressed with anyone who can recite it word for word...the thing's a mile looooooong! lol
