No...
I sent the kilt home with the pipe major, who then dropped it by the shop where the eventual owner works. I had not yet installed the cotton liner as I wanted to be sure everything fitted correctly before I completed it.
Well, the word came back that it was too loose. I rather doubt that...I'm sure he was trying to wear it slung down under his belly and of course it was not going to stay there. We made arrangements for me to drive over to the town where he works and see what needed to be done, then bring it home to finish it up.
Before I had a chance to meet with him, he was involved in an auto accident, in which he totaled his classic Corvette. He broke both ankles and both wrists and is still in no condition to do much of anything. He hopes to be back in order by September, so hopefully we'll get the kilt finished soon thereafter.
