I changed my original avatar to my tartan some months ago so that it would take up less space on the page. My tartan is Munster Province of Ireland, a district tartan. Thanks to the Great Chicago Fire and then the 1912 Easter Rising, my family is still looking for its ancestral homeland in Ireland. Barry, McMahon, Hooley, Daly are still found in the SW in County Cork and County Clare. I love its beautiful greens and blues, and in my mind's eye I can see the Emerald Isle from the air in those same shades green and blue.
