I agree, I was in a pinch the other day and I wore my dark grey pea coat and it looked great. It was for a wedding in Darien Ga, where the first Highlanders settled (I believe). It was held in an old Scottish mansion. Pretty cool.

As others have already said, one of these will keep you plenty warm, and you won't be the quality or the price.

Some good ideas here, but for me in severe wet weather, it is an Inverness, balmoral and a good umbrella.
