I would say that gives you the credibility, respectability, and the incredulity required.

Plastic Paddy, I was waiting for more information before saying anything on this subject and now that things have become a little more clear to me, I think you are doing exactly the right thing.

Tobie,
It sounds like my previous concerns and warning were completely unneccesary, you've already thought this through very well. I really like your three qualifications for action. I'll be watching to see how this develops and I'm anxious to assist in any way that I can.

Well, I spoke to all parties involved, and it is decided... the boys wore plaid women's skirts. I did take the opportunity to discuss with my source the benefits to wearing a kilt and several kilt craftsmen to purchase kilts from should they desire.
They were respectful in their protest but in their rush to make a point they wore women's clothing and that is something I shall not encourage in anyone.
Thanks for the advice and guidance. I remain ready to fight the good fight wherever and whenever it presents itself.
Thanks and Slainte,
Tobie

Wow... appreciate the update. I was wondering when the story would pop up again. What kind of response did you get from the parties involved? Had they played the right cards, this could have been a significant storey. Your restraint and professionalism paid off.

Blu,
When I told them of my plans to address the school board kilted, they were surprised and impressed. A bit disappointed as well, being that if they wouldn't have rushed to action and inquired through the same channels that brought the story to my attention, they would have had more support and very firm ground to argue from.
A lesson was learned by the lads either way and I think that the guys that aren't graduating until next year may have plans brewing.
I told them my conditions for involvement, so I wait like a kilted superhero... ready to spring into action.
Slainte,
Tobie

Tobie,
Glad that all the facts came out. It seems like it always a tough call when all the facts are not known. Way to go in getting to the bottom of it.

Thanks for staying on this story Tobie! Great Police work (sorry... I had to) in getting to the bottom of this!
A kilted Superhero? I'm picturing Groundskeeper Willie with a cape. hahaha
Let us know if the Juniors hatch a plan for next year!

Thanks for the update Tobie, and well done. I'm proud to know people like you are out there doing the research, checking the facts, and acting responsibly instead of running off half cocked. Very well done indeed.
