FB, I also drink my scotch neat, but to cool it off, I also use the granite whisky stones Todd recommends. They are always in the freezer when I have my monthly medicinal dose.

I keep some of my Glencairn glasses in the refrigerator just for the few singles that are better cooled but not diluted.
The heavy glass base makes a great heat sink. It really helps the nose when the alcohol fumes are at bay. I thought of freezer storage but I am not sure how much temperature shock the crystal glass can take. Don't know whether I would morn the scotch or the glass loss more.
