    It's the oldest recorded tartan arrording to the clan Mclean site. I've no connection with them I just loved the tartan.That Pv suprised me it's got weight and sofness...I love it

    and how does it hold the pleats? my worsted wool kilt is really as stiff as metal whereas my cheap mixed fibres kilt has much softer fabric.
    i mind about buying this one :

    but i m still unsure about pleat and holding their shape...

    Go for it that looks great.

    Bears pleats are sewn in at the edge so are bomb propf and machine washable

    and what would they cost from bear. i could n t found a price list on his page. does he have worsted wool also?
    and how much did u paid for those taxes?

    Bear has kilts in both poly/viscose and wool. check out this link http://www.bearkilts.com/kiltspg.html
    the price list for polyviscose can be found in the Poly/Viscose Kilts link, and the price for wool will be in that link.
