Yep! And i did a search and found a pic you posted last month. I am coming with my friend Shelly and her husband. He is the one in the black utility kilt there. Am also bringing a friend of mine who will wear his kilt as well.
Edit.. I also play thew bodhran. Only for a few months so far, but it is my favorite drum so far. I play quite a few. We have a drum circle every wednesday in Wahsington Square.

Great! I'm hoping for a good turnout this month, and the band has promised to feature thier repertoire of Scottish songs for the occasion....
My wife would love a bodhran lesson! I bought her one a couple of Christmases ago.

Have a great time, guys. I hate to miss it, but family obligations force me to.
I think Vic and Anne are going to miss it, too. They said something about being on vacation.
I'll be there in November. I'm thinking of buying a bonnet for the occasion.

EEk! Have not been playing for long, but maybe I will bring mine along and show her what a DO know. She is more than welcome to come to drum circle anytime. it is more tribal in nature, but I have learned the best way to play, is to play with others
My friend and I (he will be coming saturday as well, with kilt on) made a website. BinghamtonDrum.com .. not much there as of yet, but we are hoping to bring the drumming community closer together. Anyone with a love for drums, no matter what type. For now, we just advertise our own little circle. I also play an ashiko, a djembe, the congas, bongos.. and a few others. LOVE drums.. Just recently I have been practicing the bodhran to celtic and scottish music. I have no idea where I can sit in somewhere, but they work well in a drum circle too.

If you're talking about Rob Wandell, he's the guy I bought the bodhran from - one Christmas season when he was set up at the Mall. Small world...!

Rob is not the friend who is coming.. but yes! Small world.
Rob is a very good friend of mine.. he made a few of my drums. I got my bodhran there on credit. I work in his store and get paid in credit, and sometimes I run the drum circle.

December Nights
This month we're having two back-to-back Kilt Nights: 9 Dec, and 16 Dec. This is to accommodate folks' busy Holiday schedules, so that no one has to miss out this month! (I myself will be going to the 2nd one on the 16th.)
Good bands are on tap for each date: "West o' Clare" for the 9th, and "The Stoutmen" for the 16th. Still at McGirk's Pub, of course...!int:
