And those of you into solid color kilts only remember you can order a meter and have an X Marks vest sewn up.Ron

It will depend on how soon there are enough people ready to put their money down.
Minimum order is 30 meters. Or 8 confirmed orders for enough fabric for an 8yard kilt.

A tentative 5 for me. Would make for a great wedding kilt and fly.

Steve, are you offering a "package" deal if we commit and have you make the kilt?

I would love to have an X Marks kilt, but I don't know what to do with just the fabric.
Can't we order an X marks kilt somewhere? Kiltmaker can order the fabric?

Know you're in The Netherlands...
What I did was order the fabric with the group. Steve was kind enough to send it to my kiltmaker, Kathy Lare in Albuquerque, N.M. www.kathyskilts.com and she sewed up my X Marks the Scot kilt.
Guess it would work for other kiltmakers too if you talked to them upfront so they knew what was happening when the fabric arrived at their place...or you could have the fabic shipped to you and carry it to the kiltmaker of your choice.
Easy. Wonderful results.

I wish to be included on this second tartan order - please put me down for 5 meters. (Let's see, that's enough for one great kilt, OR a five yard casual AND a four yard box pleat AND a vest. Is that right?) Like others, I have plenty of projects in line already to keep me occupied, so the wait shouldn't be too oppresive.
How, where, and when do you want the money sent?

I'm still just amazed at how perfect looking the sett is through the pleats. This pic has even convinced the wife that I simply must order a kilt from Geoffrey (Tailor) and soon!
