    More confussion

    My apologies.

I was using the prices on their UK site and doing the currency conversion with the current currency daily conversion. Their UK site lists at 144.95 pounds. That currently converts to $270.00 dollars in US. And the other price 174.00 pounds converts to $320.00.
My mistake , I was actully converting in todays dollars. If they hold true to their US pricing you are completely correct. They are much cheaper. Please excuse my honest attempt at an explanation.

    Smile Its here

Hi panic over my kilt outfit from scottishkilts has arrived!! I had an email from them yesterday to sy it was on its way and it arrived this morning. The quality is fantastic, the sizes are bang on and it looks great. I would recomend scottish kilts to anyone having now seen the quality although if you like to be kept informed as to what is going on there not the people to deal with as they never ever respond to emails and when you phone they always have some sort of excuse as to why its not been sent yet/why they havnt responded to emails.
Once again the quality is great, even better than some well known retailers in edinburgh/inverness that I was looking at whilst on holiday in scotland. Also the price is much much cheaper.

All of the above is true, but one thing has been overlooked. The prices in pounds include VAT. The prices converted to US dollars at the scottishkilts.net website do not include VAT, since people who aren't citizens of the UK don't have to pay this tax. So, a kilt priced at 144.95 pounds will only cost 231.92 US dollars (instead of $270.00).
