And this is my "Throw a bunch o' crap together" outfit. I had a friend getting married. Her minister cancelled on her at the last moment, so she asked me literally 3 days before the wedding to do the ceremony. It was a themed wedding and as a guest, I was planning on just wearing the Jacobite shirt, Nightstalker and white hose. I had nothing else and not time to get anything else. She came over to my house and picked my clothes for me... How many "Don't" do we see here? She was happy, though... She thought the shabby peasant look was better than the well dressed laird look anyway, so that was what mattered... I suppose.

    Please be gentle.

My new Nightstalker & matching sporran. The addiction has begun!

EDIT: I really should have made sure everything was straightened before hitting the self-timer!

    Hiya Kilted Carver

That pic is fantastic! Where did you get the belt? I'm guessing it's your first kilt since you've posted in this thread and I have to say you wear it far more naturally than I'm managing to right now, lol. I already know that my Nightstalker is definitely going to be the first of many kilts to come

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

It is starting to look like this last page should be for the Nightstalker Clan. "We Own the Night" The belt was from a leather worker on ebay ($15) and the buckle is from Tandy Leather Factory (7.99) TLF gives out a catalog for free and they sell all kinds of cool stuff, along with the belt buckle I picked up some Celtic conchos to put on my first sporran.
Good talking with ya fellas, Nightstalker Brothers.

Here's the first picture of me. I'd worn the kilt a couple times, maybe two, but my grand unveiling was at Washington DC during a class sponsored trip. It seemed... appropriate.

Since then, I've made a few changes, like a sporran, new belt, and getting it resized so ti actually fits without the use of the belt. I can tell you though, DC is VERY windy. I even had a Marilyn Monroe moment when walking over a vent in the sidewalk. I want to know why someone would put an updraft there.... Thankfully I have good reflexes.

My first time of wearing a kilt was back in 1987 where the hotel I was working in hired it for us to wear over the festive season.

Then again in 1988. Similar tartan but not the same.

Then I hired one for myself for a company do in Jan 2006

Look at that, hasn't aged a bit although has gained a few ounces!
