Thinking it over, I think that it should either be a simple white and blue or to go for the gusto and go for full on tartan hose

    I'm almost at $90

I think I can wait just a tad more

Who else votes for XMTS tartan hose?

    Cheers

i think full tartan is your best bet.

i think the two darkest colors for the body...the navy and grey...then two stripes through it...the white and yellow.....or maybe even white and royal blue....

ok...so i got the pictures Josh had via email and they are kinda cool!!!

so i thought I could tweak one of the pics a bit and see what those "triced" hose might look like if they were xmarks colors and if you added a yellow and white stripe.....
it's messy because I just drew the stipes on with the mouse in photoshop.
I tried to make the colors match as best i could

    check it out

Well since you have been in (and ready with the funds) since the beginning lets call it a done deal and we will be ordering XMTS Argyll hose

We need three others to commit and then a sample sent to Josh

I suspect that it won't matter all that much which of the runs we send in to him (it might be nice to get one wool sample and on PV so he can split the difference and have hose that will work with any run of the XMTS tartan.

As for the exact design I think we should let Josh and his people come up with the design, they probably are pretty good at knowing how to make matching tartan hose that look great with a kilt.

    Cheers

Aye, Jamie! With Josh's generous offer, today I believe another three should line up quickly. What do you say, lads?
